There are great ideas on the list of candidates for Expo 2017, an event which is held in the capital of Kazakhstan (Astana). The theme of the competition is “Future Energy”. The plan covers a total area of 173.4 hectares, 25 of which will be for exhibitions areas, and the rest will be for residential and cultural buildings, healthcare centres. The project will also include shopping areas and parks with several park lanes.
The winning idea was presented by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill Architecture. The architectural style could be attributed to Zaha Hadid, because the curved line is what makes the layout and some interesting public spaces are protected by gigantic skylights.
We are inspired, so instead of describing the idea, we let you feast your eyes on these gorgeous photos.
