Doha Burj is a 232m skyscraper which is located on the shore of the Persian Gulf, in the capital city of Qatar. It has a simple cylindrical shape which is topped by a dome and it has a large lighting which instantly captures our attention. Yet it has a clear reference to the Arab architecture and it is enhanced by a delicate façade, comprising of several layers, creating a surface that protects the building from the solar radiation.
Actually this is not exactly the most beautiful tower of the place, but we can find some interesting details in it, especially those associated with reinforced concrete elements. The building is amazing by night when it can behave like a giant sculpture which exposes the beautiful show of different lights on the facade.
