A couple decided to remodel this 1950s ranch style house for themselves and their two children and the result is a lovely contemporary home. The architects from U+B Architecture and Design chose the exterior finishes to match with the surrounding tree trunks. Some of the interior walls are removed to make the house more spacious, and the numerous windows make it light-filled and provide more extensive views on the surrounding greenery. Interior materials were also chosen to honour Nature – wood, stone and earthly tones blend to form a simple, but cozy living space.
