Donetsk Donbass Arena is undoubtedly one of the greatест architectural treasures we can see due to Euro 2012. It was Rinat Akhmetov, owner of Shakhtar Donetsk, who decided to build a new stadium. And so he did the spectacular Donbass Arena.
Located in a privileged place in Donetsk (Ukraine), it is located in the heart of the city as part of Consomol Lenin park, which consists of a large green area. The stadium consists of a glass roof on top that lets the natural light fill in the stadium premises during the day. At night, the stadium is spectacularly lit from the outside.
The stadium can accommodate 50,000 spectators, although it managed to welcome 52,518 fans. The concert of beautiful Beyoncé officially marked the opening of the stadium on August 29th, 2009.
