The Gallon House, London West was designed by architect Andy Martin. It is inspired by the architecture of the provision of the space and the design attempts to create elegant premises on three levels. The ground floor level is essentially a public space that is finished only by the use of colors and materials. On the second and third level we find the private apartments.
The new extensions of the living room and the kitchen reach the garden and thus the light is absorbed from the south and the whole house is as if shining.
Walls and ceilings are in white, but other elements such as joinery and furnishing are strongly coloured, so this gives the house a lighter atmosphere with greater sense of perspective.
