This detached house was built on the foundations of the structure of an old military barracks in Mosman (a suburb of Sydney, Australia). The modern-looking building was built with a variety of materials, especially concrete and wood for good quality finishes.
It seems that this is two storey house, but actually it is in three levels with an easy access to the middle level. As soon as we enter the house, we find a large room that is impressive with the top of the roof, there is enough space for the living room, dining room and kitchen. Then we go to the master bedroom, which has an original arrangement of the closet and the bathroom next to it. We love the different textures that were used, especially the wooden elements. All areas of the house communicate with a large terrace overlooking the garden and the spacious swimming pool. The lower level is connected with the pool. In this part of the house we find beautifully arranged children’s bedrooms, guests’ bedroom, a games room, bathrooms  and storage facilities. The third floor has a library. The splendid staircase, facing the entrance of the house (very interesting) provides access to the garage, but there is another staircase that connects the garden with the terrace.
