This project creates new structure and a former fire station was transformed to create the headquarters of the Antwerp Port Authority. The location is quite strategic as it is between the city and the port, but also has a great view to the surroundings. It is an area with about 50 kilometers of quays, forming one of the largest ports in Europe, both for Belgium and other countries.
Once again the architect Zaha Hadid has shown that there is nothing impossible for the architecture. The façade combines transparent and reflective elements, referring to the close relationship of the city and the surroundings .
The building will have a large central atrium, offices, meeting rooms, and a panoramic restaurant. There are two underground levels for parking lots.
