The impressive Galaxy Soho, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects studio, has recently opened in Beijing. This is an office complex with an area of 330.000m2. It also includes shops and leisure areas, consisting of four volumes of round shapes, which house 15 floors, while they are connected with bridges at different levels. According to the famous architect, the project is actually a reinvention of the classic Chinese courtyard.
The Galaxy Soho is located in the business area of the city, in the northeast, where there is also an area of narrow streets which is logically related to this galactic appearance.
It is also fair to say that this project by Zaha Hadid has far exceeded what we usually expect from the striking design.
