International Center of Art and Culture in Changsha

The city of Changsha, тхе capital of the Chinese province of Huan, is not outside the strong growth and urban development which we  see  across the country. These renderings below  are an ambitious cultural complex, designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid. This is the International Center of Art and Culture.
This complex devoted to culture consists of a variety of spaces, because it stores: a Grand Theater, the museum of contemporary art, a multipurpose room (small theater), a hotel, and some other facilities. Outside, a large central square space serve for common functions and it extends into the neighboring streets and Lake Shore Meixi.
This project has a total area of 115.000m2, and was started in October. Its design meets what the diva of architecture usually does (I’m sure that you have been following all the stories we tell about the genius Zaha Hadid), with volumes, shaped by nice curves that also continue indoors. This time we can also see that two of the buildings (the Grand Theatre and the museum) have an axis of symmetry, which is unusual for Zaha Hadid. In the video you can see that the scale of this modern architecture is less than one might imagine, but still spectacular as far as we can see for most  areas. There is an easy access to the theater, and we particularly liked the exhibition space the Central Museum. Take a look at the video  which will show more of the contemporary International Culture & Art Centre in Changsha.
