Sydney once again becomes a hub of spectacular lights, music, and ideas. Now  4th  edition of Vivid’s Festival of Light 2012 takes place in the city. It will continue until June 11th, 2012. The event features over 50 light installations on some of the most emblematic buildings in the Australian city, including the symbolic “sails” of the Sydney Opera House. Light Festival in Sydney is a great celebration of the creative industries and the largest festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting over 400,000 visitors.  17 days, lights, music, ideas and industry are the four categories that stand out in this awesome event. Lighting events are amazing, the light brings the Australian architecture in the spotlight. Huge 3D projections are assigned different landmarks (Sydney Opera House, Customs House and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Australia) and make them an interactive mix of sculpture, art, design and light. Among the most prominent light installations, you will recognize the digital game Tic Tac Toe, a project by artists selected from all around the world.  As the morning sun rises, buildings, streets, bridges and infrastructure are bathed in light as if everything comes to a new life.  flashing lights, the honking, the daily hustle and bustle, go through this new city. What would you say about motion graphics to extraordinary heights at its many large-scale installations? The festival not only explores the curves of the Opera House’s iconic shape, but makes the city a home of music, dance and theater, resulting in both sophisticated and spectacular event.
