Opus Office Tower by Zaha Hadid

This project was started almost at the same time when the first iPhone was released in 2007. It is called Opus Office Tower and it is supposed to become a part of the development plan designed for the city of Dubai. These are two structures, but Zaha Hadid has had the ability to create them as if they represent a single object, a cube that is empty from within and it creates the illusion that it floats in the air. This is quite an urban architecture.
The Opus Tower is located near the Burj Khalifa and it has an area of about 90.000m2 spread over 23 floors. The tower will have a mixed use since in addition to modern offices and commercial areas on the first five floors, there will be also a hotel ‘ ME by Melia ‘ where the talented architect will take to bring to perfection the interior design. What you can see on the photos below looks pretty and it speaks for the inimitable style and professional approach of Zaha Hadid.
The building is currently under construction and it is planned to open by 2016.
