The Music Box is an art piece, an architectural wonder in New Orleans. Musicians and sculptors have created a small village where every house is itself a musical instrument. In this place everything produces different sounds, so you can play the entire melody if you simply reside in this space. In Music Box, furniture, floors and drawers can make a sound. It is interesting to know that most of the structures are made using recycled materials, some are made of from remains of the Hurricane Katrina. In the small village one will be attracted by the “Lookout Tower”, an old spiral staircase with elements of an organ from a church, destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The “Echo Wall” is made of vibrant steel sheets. In addition, that’s not all, because the floor also produces sound when someone is walking. If you think that this is more peculiar that you might have guessed in the beginning, I will tell you that there is a rocking chair and a giant tub. Visitors in the Music Box can experience the feeling related to all aspects of the unusual environment in a way completely different from what we are used to.
