The Tred Avon House is built in Easton, a town in the state of Maryland (USA) with less than 20 000 inhabitants. This beautiful building ” is named after the river that runs nearby, and it is situated on a peninsula (Diamond Point), which gives a wonderful view from different angles. The structure is elevated one meter in order to protect the house against flooding.
Although it is a house with two floors, it is a building which is predominantly horizontal, organized into three pavilions and connected by glass galleries. The central volume is the one that marks the entrance. The living room, kitchen and storage space are located on the lower level while the upper floor houses two suites.
