You will love the volume composition of this property. It is easily presented with a single photo and we loved it from the first sight! View Hill House is located in Yarra Valley, a region, abundant with vineyards, in Victoria (Australia). It’s not the first time the architect uses his creativity to define such a house, however, this time we are inspired by the true minimalist approach.
The prism on the lower floor is covered with steel pieces, while the upper part of the house is nicely finished with black aluminum panels. Inside, the walls and ceilings are covered with funky chipboard, while the floors are finished with polished concrete.
The ground floor is mainly developed to house the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, and some rooms. Upstairs we find two offices and a bedroom for guests. As you can see from the photos, the structure is also very simple. One can admire the great landscape to the vineyards from every angle of each prism which is fully glazed.
