This impressive architectural piece is located in an area on the outskirts of Ragusa (Sicily, Italy). This 4 bedroom family home is asymmetrical, but modern, it creates different different elevations that frame the landscape from different directions, alternating walls with large glazed areas.
The Villa T looks like as if being on one level, although the inclination leads to a double height surface.
The main floor has “L” (take look at the photos) shape, and it is organized in accordance with double-height space which is occupied by the living room. On one side we have access to the kitchen, and from the other we head for the master bedroom. The latter has a large dressing room and a bathroom. The staircase is situated right at the corner glass, it leads to study area and a bedroom. The staircase leads to the basement.
Beyond the kitchen, there is is a semi-covered terrace that is perfect for outdoor activities.
This project has many contrasts, one of its corners is fully glazed (from floor to the roof), whereas the other is completely opaque and thus some areas don’t have a direct ventilation.
Apart from some shortcomings, Villa T seems built to perfection, we like the architectural style and creative techniques that are fully applied to this house.
